Stuart Clark is currently the Principal Clarinet with Los Angeles Opera Orchestra. He received his music education at the Royal College of Music in London, graduating with honors. In his postgraduate year he was awarded an exchange fellowship to study at UCLA and furthered his studies at USC. In addition to the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra, Stuart has performed with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Spokane Symphony, Pasadena Symphony, Pacific Symphony and New West Symphony. An ardent chamber musician, he has performed with Jacaranda, Capitol Ensemble, Infrequency and the New Hollywood String Quartet. In addition to live performances, Stuart plays regularly as a recording musician for television and film scores, working for composers such as John Williams, Alexandre Desplat and Hans Zimmer.
