Tenor Edmond Rodriguez has performed in a variety of different styles and genres throughout his life. After graduating with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern California in 2019, Edmond became a chorister for the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Through the Master Chorale, Edmond has performed with the LA Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl, and as a recent soloist in Rachmaninoff's All-Night Vigil. In his time at USC, Edmond performed several roles such as Don Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro, Le Pêcheur in Le Rossignol, a character-based role in the opera Postcard from Morocco, and several opera scenes as well. He also lent his voice to a tour of the Rolling Stones in 2016 with the USC Chamber Singers during their Desert Valley Tour. Edmond’s voice can be heard on featured films like Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and Call of the Wild and most recently, Disney's Encanto. In 2020, Edmond made his professional opera debut in the state of Alaska in Robert Xavier Rodriguez's Frida, with Long Beach Opera. This upcoming summer, he will be a Vocal Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Festival. Edmond looks forward to developing his artistry in the Southern California landscape.
