Timpanist and percussionist Gregory Goodall has performed on over 700 Hollywood motion pictures for such notable composers as John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner, Alan Silvestri, James Newton Howard, Randy Newman, David Newman, John Debney, Christophe Beck, Joel McNeely and Hans Zimmer. His list of film credits include the popular scores from Star Wars:The Force Awakens, The Good Dinosaur, Frozen, Monsters Inc., Ice Age, Life of Pi, Avatar, Toy Story, Titanic, Forrest Gump, Air Force One and Jurassic Park. Greg also serves as Principal Timpani for the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra, and has performed with many other orchestras, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. He was featured at the Percussive Arts Society Convention and has performed chamber music with Pierre Boulez. Greg attended UCLA where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master of Fine Arts majoring in Music Performance Practices. His teachers include William Kraft, Mitchell Peters and Charles DeLancey.
